We all know we are selling ourselves, people are returning to our chair because let's just face it, they like you as the stylist. You are the "Brand" nothing else.
With that being said, as a stylist working with the public, you are always a representation of yourself. Who do you want to show the world who you are? Are you someone one with class, dignity, grace?
Or are you someone that just needs attention? The salon clown? The salon big mouth!? The salon Diva? Us hairstylist come in many forms. Lets face it, we are all a little whacked out. We are also very hard to employee. We don't want to be told what to do and how to do it. Given all these factors I don't know how anyone in this business can make a living? But we do and each generation of hairstylist behind me seem to keep making their mark on the world. So get out there stylist
