So do most businesses
And most of us if we are brutally honest
So why do most failures inspire breakthroughs and others breakdowns?
Why do some say losing a job or getting a divorce is the best thing that ever happened to them, while others take years to get back on their feet.
My divorce years have been a succession of madness. I'm not afraid to fail. Yes, always a setback but a learning experience. I should have made better decisions so I didn't come to the distasteful end. And you can't go through life playing the blame game. This was my destiny to fly like an Eagle but I got shot down a few times like a clay shoot. Haha
"Normal-bias" is becoming our nations
Norm for dealing with failure. So many people are becoming more and more embarrassed to fail. So many people are freezing when it comes to crisis.
Actually my high achiever friends who have lived in dynamic Societies encourage me to fail. These friends recognize their failures early, admit that something has gone wrong. They let a failure hurt but don't make it crippling.
We increasingly live in societies where we teach kids not to fail. Get it right the first time. Ouch. I tell my kids, fail, fail a lot. Most of our famous who came to start their dreams in New York came with very little money or where homeless. I just found out Jennifer Lopez just came out of the closet and said she was homeless, living out her car. Madonna came to Manhattan with $35 in her pocket. I could go on and on. If your failing I think your on the right track. Maybe we will be seeing you on someone's stage. :)
Most failures are inevitable, bad choices, foolish decisions and not shutting it down sooner than later.
All these apply to my life. Everything I've failed at should have been shut down sooner than later.
Thought-provoking isn't it.....
In hind-sight turn obstacles into triumphs
Ok, get out their and fail at something
If you've never been fired, try it
It might through you into thinking outside your box and start your own business
This happened to my friend, he's now running a very successful, lucrative business.
Lingerie is always a good business to get into... Mmmhhh
Xoxo
