Despite all the charm, loving attributes,

"Honesty" and all their protestations of simply being a "Good person" all adds up to Joan Crawford looking like Mother Theresa!
Funny thing is, I literally saw my narc as a saint!! "How did I get soo lucky to find such a wonderful man!" NOT!
A narcissist is still a narcissist. Known for their pathological lying, manipulation, disrespect, abuse and lack of empathy.
There is nothing good that comes from these beings.
Even their children are tainted with ownership! Perfectionism, and ultimate disapproval of the child's authentic self
On exchange for bolstering their image. If they have a child that is great at at a sport, the child will be pushed to the edge to be great and when that falls through....
The narcissist spewing nothing but disappointment.
It's always about bolstering their image. Which is really hurting in low self esteem.
That's why they try to fill their lives with materialistic things, beautiful spouses, the right cat etc.....
Bolstering their image is what they live for.
