A DAY DEDICATED TO LOVE

I may not have been lucky yet to find a Great love
But there's a dream of someone wonderful for me
On this day dedicated to love
I am still alone
But even when I've been with someone
I've been alone
Always attracting the wrong men
I refuse to play their ridiculous game
Love with the wrong man is like falling off a cliff
Down the ages love has been a mystery
That has eluded everyone
Psychologist describe love as a mixture
Of three components:
Intimacy
Passion
Commitment
The most popular definition of love is...
It's a mystery
For most of us, or all of us we are all trying
To find it or keep it or mend it
It can rob of us hope
Does it really ever matter whether we understand it?
Adult love is an attachment bond, like that between mother and child
Love is Spellbinding
In contrast
The core of a happy relationship
Is deep trust
Secure love is an open channel for
Reciprocal emotional signaling
Love is also:
A constant process of fine tuning
Connecting
Missing and misreading cues
Disconnecting
Repairing
And finding a deeper connection
It's a dance
Of meeting and parting
Finding each other again
Repair, despair
But if you TRUELY love someone
All the puzzles pieces will work there way
Through and separation of your love
Will survive and fit back together
It's a revelation and a promise
It's about three words
It's about what really aspired on 9/11
On that dreaded day
When people new they had one last phone call to their loved ones it was those three big words......
And in the end what are we really left with?
Yes, and if I would ever find that special someone someday as well and I had to make one last phone call to him my last three words would be same as they were on that fateful day on 9/11
Nothing else
"I just want you to know I really loved you!"
I LOVE YOU
So on this day of love
All of you that have found the love of your life let them know, I LOVE YOU...
