Sometimes it is years to heal from such abuse. I want you to know that's ok. I just talked to two people took over ten years.
Take as long as you want to heal.
Friends will say stupid things like, "your doing this to yourself, just get over it."
"There comes a point where your responsible for your own happiness, forget about it."
It's just not that easy. When you really loved someone and they broke you down, it's just hard.
I threw my self into my career, even moved away!
Reinvention was soo the key I needed
I would not be here today if I wouldn't have came to New York City and started a new life. I would have not had made it through! That's the god honest truth
