I was heading out of Washington Heights
I went to check something out
On my way home
I encountered major action on train!!
Train was heading into
Lower Manhattan when we were stopped
At west 4th street
I wasn't paying much attention
Because I had my headphones on
Like we all do
When out of the blue!!
A young guy jumps into my train!!
He was soaking wet
His shirt torn
Walking back & forth
Nervous
What the hell is going on
I said to myself
Our train was full of people
And I was first one to go into
Panic/calm mode
Why are you people just sitting here??
Ok, I called out to big black guy sitting
Nearby where I think the emergency
Button should be
I got my phone ready to call 911
I saw a women on the platform
He was talking to her
Train was on lock down
I said to myself
How the hell can I get us out of here
The bad guy, was a caged rat
They had us on lock down
There was NOOO
Getting out
I didn't like it
They had us locked in with
The bad guy
First thing I thought of
Was if I don't do something
We are going to get shot
All of us
My poor children
Their going to see me dead on the news!!
All I was doing was going home
To Brooklyn
Finally, the police are running around
Bad guy takes off for back of train
Kicks window out
And disappears
Thank god!!
We've been spared!!
I'm getting home tonite
And not in a coroners bag!!!
