I worked at a salon that had a great location! But was not owned by someone that ever stood behind the chair!! I'm a real stickler with that, you don't belong where you never dwelled!! Meaning, if you have never stood behind that chair you should never own a salon. There's just more to it than just knowing how to run a "business." There's more to it than being a "business" owner!! It's a magic we all have, it's a talent, it's not a "Brand" if your a good stylist YOU are the Brand!!! Your selling yourself! Clients are doing business with you because they LOVE YOU!!!
Aaahh, can you imagine!!!
"I luv ME, who do you Luv" attitude doesn't work in our magical world. People are smart, educated now a days! If your sooo into your self and think your such a big bag of chips, how in the world are you going to have any love left over to give to the clients???!!!
I've had some new clients coming from another salon lately. Why??? Well this is why!! They tell me they are greeted by a women that thinks her beauty surpasses all in the world, very condescending, luvs herself very much attitude. Just a turn off, to be greeted into anyone's business with such a horrible attitude!!! Beauty is only skin deep, and I know of this older gal and her personality just makes her uglier!
But one never knows what her psychological being is, and like I always say we are a representation of oneself and if that's how she wants to spew her ugly brand of magic into the world I'm sure KARMA will get her if it already hasn't. Truthfully at my age we all know shes hiding behind that exterior of lack of self esteem. Lets just say, the group of people she surrounds herself with, know one in the hairdressing community cares for any of them! It's not even a jealousy thing! There just white trash who have worked up the ladder and still continue with hot attitude ??!! They REALLY like themselves, aaahhh perfect word usage for all of them "hot mess." Their narcissistic attitudes complete turn off. Who cares you morons!!! Do you know how UGLY you all are in and out!!! Keep on doing your thing though so we can all have a great example how the salon should not be run. Tehe xoxo
