in the life of a hairdresser
yesterday a friend of mine that has been doing hair for 40 yrs was giving me the low down
of all the salon drama she has been through
she told me she left a salon a few yrs ago
around Christmas time.......
the owner was sooo angry
it turned into all this drama
when she left the salon, she walked away with nothing but her shears
no perm rods, no color, no combs, brushes
she thought Efff it I'll buy new equipment
to her dismay
they showed up at her new salon one afternoon
with the Christmas tree in hand!!!! (she had left the tree behind)
and while she was standing doing hair, came and threw the tree right at her!!!
OMG!!!
Completely mortified, she decided to remain silent
as they ranted and raved profanities at her
calling her horrible names
she knew not to stoop to there level
they then left the salon and made more of an ass
out of themselves then anything

we have a lot to psychologically deal with us hairstylist
not only what it takes to service our clients and keep them happy
but having no staff drama is a whole other monster
and this is what its like to stand behind that chair
