New York is a very international city anymore
I feel like a foreigner in my own country
20 years ago you foreigners would've had to learn English!
and quick or else
now on any given day as I do errands
walk the streets
go anywhere, I'm the minority

As I walk down the street
I hear very little English being spoken
Spanish, French, Russian, Chinese, Japanese
I'm under pressure to learn all

Americana
straight from the suburbs of Philly
I gotta learn all these languages

It's ok, I love the exposure
I just couldn't take my Redneck life anymore
